"I was scared w/this recipe! Alot of steps, though once started-all went way smooth! A couple of adjustments were made (after reading reviews): 2 TBS cocoa, not tsp., used just over 1TBS food coloring. Make sure you cook flour/milk until well thickened and then cool completely. Mix/then whip for great consistency.I matched like sized (most were uniform) after they cooled, put some of the filling and WHOOPIE ;) THANKS PAULA "
"This was a great "go to" frosting recipe! Don't know why others didn't get it right...you have to beat it, as the recipe says, for approximately 10 minutes. Mine was creamy, buttery and had a wonderful consistency...I even messed up partially by not "following" (in order) of ingredients. I will love to make this one again!
"Great "go to" cupcake; they were easy to make (I doubled it) and they were very moist. I found another frosting recipe separately (vanilla) as we were chocolated out from the holidays. Wonderful change!
