"This was wonderful, and I didn't have all the fresh herbs--still delicious. Only made two changes: cut recipe in half and used chicken broth instead of water. Just greatness neither of us could stop eating it, finally had to just take the rest off the table! It WAS a lot of wrk, though,make it when , you have plenty of time...."

βI had breast cancer surgery last week and was told not to over use my right arm, but I wanted to have risotto with our salmon tonight. This recipe fit the bill--no stirring for twenty minutes, standing over the stove! Excellent results, delicious addition to our meal! β

"This is one of my very favorites, but my good friend from Rome, and this is a Roman dish, tells me that true Puttanesca has parsley but never basil. And he is a professional chef, so I have to go with his advice Anyway, I think basil in it changes the dish too much, it doesn't taste like true Puttanesca anymore.
