"This is a great recipe for company. Not super complicated, difficult or expensive but still has a "wow" factor. The glaze recipe makes TOO MUCH. Cut it in half, if not quartering it. Very tasty though, especially with Meyer lemons if you can find them."
"As mac & cheese goes, this one's pretty good. The only complaint I have is there are so many cheeses! They all blended well together, but didn't see the need for so many different kinds flavor-wise. Seems to me you can make a perfectly good one with fewer which equals a lot less trouble. Sorry Bobby, but Ina's got you beat on this one."
"I really like this one and was surprised when my husband liked it too. He could only find the dried wrappers that need to be re-hydrated in water at the store, but they turned out to be too thin to stand up to the frying. Next time I'll use a double layer and see how that goes. I only had garlic chili sauce on hand, but sweetened it up with som"
"Ina's done it again! Her recipes never fail me. This was a hit at our Thanksgiving table this year and will make a repeat performance next year. I love that I can make it a day (or even two) ahead of time and only make the whip cream the day I serve it. The banana lightens the pumpkin flavor while still not making the pie taste like banana. The recipe is easy enough for week nights and uses ingredients I usually have on hand all the time. It also seems to lend itself to tweaking without fear (I'll try one reviewer's suggestion of adding chili paste next time). I only "
"I really liked this mustard glaze and one of the best things about it is it's a great starting point to make it your own. I thought it could have used a little sweetness and heat so next time I'll try some brown sugar and red pepper flakes."
"We really liked this one in our house! I know it's called "LEMON-Pepper Fettuccine" but I went easy on the lemon (only about 1/2 tsp.) and there was just enough lemon flavor - any more and I think it would overpower the cream and cheese. This is definitely one of those recipes where the ingredients matter. The regular grocery store fare will ma"
"This seemed like an tasty recipe that could be easily adjusted for whatever you have on hand. It adjusted easily enough, but wasn't quite the thing. I've tried it twice and found I preferred cooking the rice and noodles in 2 cups of rice, rather than the specified 1 1/2. We don't like pimento, so I substituted diced peppers and cooked them with"
