I love, love, love food and all that goes with it. Shopping for it, cooking it, decorating it and especially feeding friends and family the finished product. I am a technical writer but my passion is all about food. What inspires me to cook is curiosity and ingredients I can put together to be delicious.
I love all vegetables and fruits, as a matter-of-fact I love just about any food other than rubarb and sea cucumber; kind of like badly prepared okra...super slimey. My favorite food to cook is soup, but the most popular thing is: Salmon, stuffed with salmon mousse in puff pastry with champagne sauce. It is a real winner. I am also told, and I believe it to be true, that I make the best Turkey and dressing ever. At least my family and friends tell me it is so. My favorite restaurant right now is Cafe Sparrow in Santa Cruz, a not too big sort of Bistro that serves really good food.
