"These are so good. I'm writing this review literally moments before my guests walk in the door but these biscuits are so good I have to give credit where credit is due. I read the prior reviews and added more buttermilk. But the biscuits are soft inside and crusty on top with amazing flavor. A perfect addition to my chili for watching the football"
"My husband said it right when he said, "There's just too much going on." Between the mint, the peas, the honey, cilantro & jalepano there are too many flavors trying to mesh. "
"This is a great recipe for a large dinner. I made it for a Christmas side and it was easy and a huge hit. I watched Ann make it on her show and she made the comment, this is a side dish not a dessert, which I appreciated because so many other recipes call for a ton of sugar. I made the casserole 2 days in advance and it sat in my fridge. Christmas day I simply pulled it out made the crumb topping and popped it in the oven, it could not have been easier! Everyone loved it and no one guessed that it had dried aprictos in it.
"I just made this for Christmas dinner for 12 people and it was a huge hit. We had a 5lb tenderloin so I doubled the gravy recipe, however it ended up being way too much. Don't worry about the cocoa, you can't even taste it in the sauce, it only adds depth and a slightly sweet smell.
"Great recipe for the holidays. The cookies look festive and they are delicious. I used a little less sugar in the cookie recipe because of the sugary icing and they turned out great.
