I am very nostalgic regarding my Italian Heritage and the recipes from my family, which are very time consuming, as we make our own pasta dough and pasta. I have been a nurse for 16 years and have Type 2 diabetes for 8 years, beginning with oral meds and proceded to insulin about a year ago. I love to cook (and eat), but trying to complete my lifestyle change so I can see my grandchildren grow up.
