"This is the best French Onion Soup I've ever had including restaurant soup. I used a 5 qt. aluminum pan (it was my mothers and the onions browned nicely. Took about 1 1/4 hrs to make. My husband said he will gladly peel onions the next time I make the soup. He peels to eat!! I used 1 pkg. beef broth and 1 pkg. low sodium chicken broth and it was a good balance. Definitely a keeper. Ann, You Go Girl !!
