I had never cooked or eaten polenta before so I was a bit hesitant to try this recipe but I'm so glad I did. "I made the maple sausage but not the sandwich, so that's what I'm rating. I thought it was absolutely delicious, but a bit too salty otherwise it would have been 5 stars. It is now my go-to breakfast sausage. I pre-make it, form patties and freeze them and have used it in eggs benedict, biscuits & gravy and omelettes - super delicious!"
