โ€œVery nice! I made the meatballs with venison and I added about a cup of red wine to the sauce. I couldn't help myself, it was just sitting on the counter calling my name. We liked the bucatini, nice change from spaghetti. The bacon and tomato combo reminds me a little of barbecue sauce--sort of a sweet smell and taste. โ€

โ€œGood idea, not so great in the execution. I loved the tarragon in the biscuits, but felt the broth was a little bland--could've used more flavor of tarragon in that as well. Unless my conversions were totally incorrect, I think six cups of flour--basically an entire cup per person--is a little over the top. Needed more vegetables, too, in my opinion.... โ€

โ€œNot crazy about this one--not enough cornmeal to qualify as "corn bread" and way too much dill. I'll try the basic recipe again but use 1/2 flour and 1/2 meal. โ€

โ€œThe recipe is fabulous if you make it by the directions on the show, but the directions here leave off an ingredient--two tablespoons of tomato paste--that I'm virtually certain she used. I added it to mine. Also as others have mentioned, the timing is incorrect. The taste is wonderful, though, definitely a keeper! โ€

"Tasted great, but WAY too much crust for one tart. I made two and had plenty of crust. I did not have grappa, I added a little Almond Flavoring to the mascarpone. The taste was fabulous!"
