"Outstanding! I did make some additions - I added diced carrot and celery along with about 1T of tomato paste to the sauce before putting in the oven. I also used the fresh thyme at that point instead of at the end. Used my immersion blender to make the gravy. It was fab!!!""
"really easy. lends itself well to any modifications you want to try. I used italian seasoning instead of herbs de provence (didn't have them), regular onion instead of shallots and added celery and garlic. will definately add this to my regular rotation""
"great recipe - easy to put together. I added all the brown sugar and cider vinegar called for, but I did it in 1 T increments so I could taste in between. Thought the called for amount was spot on. I also might try adding hot sauce or red pepper flakes for a little kick next time.""
