"I had three large tomatoes that were pretty ripe, so I thick sliced
them, evoo, garlic, salt and pepper and roasted them on the BBQ
1 1/2 hours - roasted the head of garlic and onion last 45 min.
Used 1/2 can of chopped tomatoes. this was sooooo tasty family
loved it."

"I used a 3 inch piece of chorizo minced as well as bacon bits for this one - soup is really yummy - adding the cobs really adds a lot of flavor - family loved it "

"This is a great dish for pot luck or appetizer - we use tortilla chips for dipping - absolutely yummy - if not spicy enough - add salsa and use jalapeno jack cheese. this recipe is truly authentic and a great comfort dish"
