"This is an AMAZING dish! I make it in a deeper, shorter baking dish, creating three layers and then pouring the custard on top, somewhat slowly, allowing to challah to absorb the liquid.
Serve it warm and you do not need any ganache or sauce, a little powdered sugar will suffice.
