Reviewed Peanut Butter Cookies with Blackberry Jam

Tuesday, Jul 2, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

"I actually prefer this recipe without the jam - the combination of peanut butter and chocolate tastes like a Reeses peanut butter cup! I thought the cookies were too big the first time I made them (they fell apart and the jam got everywhere) so every time I've made them since, I just use a 1 inch cookie scoop to make smaller cookies and leave the"

"I'm so glad these stuffed peppers are both super healthy and super satisfying! The fresh salsa is amazing - I might double the recipe next time so I can snack on it with chips! This recipe is a little time consuming since you have to cook the brown rice first (which takes almost an hour) but I just made the rice the night before and stuck it in "

Reviewed Ceci (Chickpeas Sauce with Penne

Thursday, Jun 9, 2011 on Cooking Channel

"I made this earlier this week and loved it. This pasta is super quick and easy, really delicious, and a great new way to use chickpeas. One thing to be aware of though: the 1 pound of penne it calls for makes way more than 4 servings. Be prepared for lots of leftovers. I decided to put all the leftover pasta and sauce in a casserole dish, topp"

Reviewed Chicken with Apple, Onion and Cider Sauce

Saturday, Apr 16, 2011 on FoodNetwork.com

"I really love this recipe - it's incredibly easy to make, yet the flavors are impressive enough to serve to guests. My dad always requests this dish because the vinegar gives it a German flair and he loves German food. :)
This is one of my go-to meals, especially in the Fall when apples & onions are such featured ingredients. I usually serve it with boiled red potatoes dressed with a little garlic and sour cream. YUM!"

Reviewed Banana Muffins with Mascarpone Cream Frosting

Saturday, Apr 16, 2011 on FoodNetwork.com

"This is by far my favorite banana muffin recipe! I make them all the time for my family, to bring to potlucks or parties, and to give as gifts. I love the moist texture of Giada's muffins, and the banana flavor is amazing - not at all bland like some of the other recipes I've tried. It's definitely a sweet muffin, though, so if you're looking for something more along the lines of a breakfast muffin, you might want to cut down the amount of sugar and even substitute wheat germ or oats for some of the flour. I happen to love the sweetness of these; I've never bothered to frost them, but I do occasionally add semi-sweet chocolate chips for a little extra decadence. Thanks, Giada!"
