"Hands down the best banana bread that I have ever made. I think anyone knocking this recipe did not follow the recipe correctly or is plain crazy. I have to admit that I made some changes, but only slightly.
I made sure I used 3 VERY LARGE bananas, if you have small ones, add an extra in this recipe. Also, I added 1/4 cup Applesauce to ensure moistness. I also added 1/8 tsp allspice and about 1/2 cup chopped walnuts because I prefer nuts in my bread. Turned out perfectly. I checked bread earlier than suggested, but ended up cooking the exact full time mentioned.
WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I with a friend and my neighbor, both wanted the recipe.....
