"So much better than what the name sounds like. You think you are going to get the same old layered taco dip and WOW, this is completely out the box different. Love it. Could make a meal of this, not just a dip."
"Loved the flavor, we have made this as is and also doctored up. Used Kosher salt, halved green grapes, and a little finely chopped red onion when serving on crisp greens. Thanks Paula."
"This was so good, and very easy, what a great comb. Another winner from Paula. Theresa941 please tell me you didn't really put in 1 cup of salt. That was the recipe for the house seasoning, not an ingredient in the chicken pasta dish. "
"Amazing cookie, hint of honey and crisp. Wonderful with cup of coffee in the morning."
"We love pork here in the South and this recipe is wonderful. Wish I could find a dish like this on a roadside trip. I've always cut slices in my roast to put in garlic and/or green onions, but never thought of doing this with a pork chop, adds so much flavor and the small amount of bacon gives just the right amount of an earthy flavor to the dish"
"This is another winner recipe. Like so many of your recipies they are good made exactly as written or very easy to modify to your own taste. I used 1 pound of crawfish and 1 pound of jumbo lump crab meat (picked over for shells), and added 4oz Philly cream cheese for additional creamy texture, half and half instead of milk, 1/2c white wine, and "
"One poster said this is a great recipe to play with and they were right. To the people who found it a little dry, try adding a small, ripe, mashed banana. Banana goes well with the pineapple flavor. I also added some chopped maraschino cherries and from another posters suggestion, added chopped macadamia nuts and a small amount of sweet coconut."
"Cooking then steaming the potatoes is a great way to keep them tender, but still slightly firm, I love it. Dressing is wonderful, thought the dill might be too much, but was perfect. A must do, don't forget to use Kosher salt, not table salt. Thanks Ina, love your show, and love it when Jeffery comes on to join you."
"Another winner! I made these for a family dinner and everyone loved them. I made them again for a BBQ and added a can of no sugar added crushed pineapples and a chopped, peeled apple, came out great. I love your recipes because they give me a solid base which allows me to make some changes and still come out with a good dish. There will always be people who want to give a low rating without even making the recipe, they are just sad folks who need to push someone down in order to push themselves up. Don't pay any attention to their remarks, we love you and the semi-homemade style, that's the way most of us cook.
