Reviewed Spatchcocked Cornish Hen with Baby Leaf Salad and Sourdough Croutons

Monday, Apr 22, 2013 on Cooking Channel

"Well, I've not made the complete recipie. Meaning I haven't made the dressing and spinach salad. But the spatchcock technique and the roasting directions is how I roast my Cornish hens now. It's fantastic, easy, and always perfect. I do serve it with salad, but usually one that my family is familiar with. Great Technique."

"Finally got around to making this, it's really good. Creamy not grainy, the pistachios are wonderful in it. One thing is, you really need to store this in the fridge or freezer, stays really soft if left at room temp. "

"Ok, this is awesome! I used a pasteurized egg, and started off with just a couple of drops of truffle oil, tasted, then add a few more. My indulgent splurge when I cook for myself. YUM!"

"This recipie or a variation of it has become one of my "go to" suppers! So easy, and usually have all the ingredients ( or form of ) in the kitchen. Have made it with all chicken thighs or a combo of thighs and breasts as well as a cut up fryer. Have used a variation of veggies as well, fresh peppers, or even fresh brussel sprouts. I even have tos"

"Ok, I've made this 4 times and it turned out perfect two out of the four. But in defense of this recipie and dear Nigella, I think the weather has something to do with it, on days it was humid or muggy is when it didn't turn out. I even bought a silpat sheet because of this recipie, it really works great. I'll keep trying it, only on dry days thou"

"I have made this several times, and it is always a hit! Just takes time, not hard at all. My house smells like a carnivores dream! I've taken this to cover dish dinners and there is never a slice left. Do love it when there is some leftover though, a thick slice makes an outstanding sandwich."

Reviewed Crunchy Pork Chops with Garlicky Spinach and Tomato Salad

Thursday, Apr 4, 2013 on Cooking Channel

"This recipie is wonderful and so easy. The porkchops are so moist and crispy, I have even adapted this to boneless chicken breast that I have pounded thin. The fresh bread crumbs really make it."

Reviewed Alcoholic Hot Chocolate

Thursday, Apr 4, 2013 on Cooking Channel

"So good, like dessert in a cup! There is nothing like real hot cocoa. Although I'm not a rum girl, but an Amaretto girl. Like I said, soooo good. I have even made it using stevia (I'm a diabetic) and it's still wonderful."

"Fantastic cake, so easy, put all ingredients into the food processor and mix! Super moist, and I even used reduced fat sour cream (don't tell Nigella. The frosting is silky, and delicious. Made it for my husbands birthday, he said it is a "keeper"."

"Absolutely awesome! I didn't have pom juice, so I used orange juice, it was so good. Add the crunch meringues right before serving. So much better than just strawberries and cool whip."

Reviewed Clementine Cake

Thursday, Apr 4, 2013 on Cooking Channel

"This cake takes some time, but it is extremely easy. I love Nigella's food processor cakes, and this is one of them. The longest step is simmering the clementines (or clementine/orange combo, which is what I used.) This cake is extremely moist and dense, almost a quick bread consistency, due to the ground almonds. I ate this for breakfast with co"
