"This was a big hit with my guests, but I personally agreed with some of the reviews that it did not have a ton of flavor for all that went into it. i also don't think I pureed the almonds enough. I think using roasted almond butter would be a worthwhile shortcut. Next time, I will drizzle truffle oil on top and I will probably add more herbs - "
"The first time I made this, it was great! I used canned artichokes and they worked fine (just omit the salt). The second time I used frozen and I don't know if I did something wrong or what. It was just blah. I will make it again because it was so good the first time. We put it over angel hair pasta and had a vegetarian dinner or a great side"

Maybe a stronger cheese, and/or adding sour cream, butter or something to the potatos (including more salt, as mentioned in the other review) would help, but given the effort involved in this side dish, I won't try again."
"This is such an easy, delicious, quick and healthy dish! I thaw frozen raw, peeled and deveined shrimp under cold water. This is a meal in in itself and I can make it with what I usually have on hand. Add some fresh asparagus, broccoli or spinach to up the nutritional content when you don't have the ingredients or time for a salad."
