"Very tasty, But- when you mix melted butter with stout and eggs you get little beads of butter, (not smooth batter). That threw me off, but I baked them anyway and they turned out well. I think that you could use veg. oil and get the same results. This batter is very thin but I guess it's supposed to be. I'll make them again, and try oil instead o""
