I would recommend using a low-sodium soy sauce or Bragg Liquid Aminos is a healthy alternative to Soy and Tamari sauce. No table salt or preservatives are added.

I don't usually post a comment when I haven't tried a receipt yet, but "threeyorkies" review is definitely harsh especially since he/she knocks Ina Garten's Ultimate Ginger Cookie which is my favorite cookie that I make at Christmas. Fantastic soup. Doesn't seem like enough pasta at first, but once it cooks up in the soup it's perfect. Suggest cooking the pasta less than al dente because it's going to cook more in the soup and then again when reheating leftovers. I loved the addition of spinach and the pesto and wine at the end are classic French finishes. My coworkers are enjoying...

Reviewed Restaurant-Style Salsa

Wednesday, Sep 25, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

"I have been looking for a salsa recipe that replicates the one that I get at Pappasito's restaurant and this is about as close as it gets. At Pappasito's, they serve it warm which is wonderful too. This is the only way I will ever make salsa again. Excellent!!! "

Reviewed Chicken Lemon Orzo Soup

"Made this soup the next day after seeing Jeff prepare it on his show and it was great. One tip I really took from Jeff was to cook the orzo separately from the soup. I have always cooked small pasta (such as for pasta fagiole) directly into the soup, but the pasta winds up sucking up all the liquid and then you have a soup that doesn't have enough"

Reviewed Tangy Maple Baked Beans with Applewood Smoked Bacon

Monday, Aug 5, 2013 on Cooking Channel

"This is the best baked beans recipe I've ever tried! They aren't actually "baked" but rather cooked on top of the stove. The sweetness of the Carolina-style BBQ Sauce (I used Sticky Fingers brand) and the smokiness of the applewood smoked bacon is fantastic. Took a double batch of these beans to an office party and everyone said they were the b"

"These ribs were absolutely fabulous! You can have the ribs prepared ahead of time and just put them on the grill when your guests arrive. Both the dry rub and the BBQ sauce were very good - a little kick to the sauce from the cayenne and chili powder, but was just perfect. I liked the tartness that he vinegar gave and wouldn't change the sauce "

"I had a left over roasted chicken that I wanted to use up so made this dish last night. You're not going to have the flavorful chicken broth that Ree got by boiling the chicken and then the bones, so I used unsalted chicken broth with a little bit of water and started from there. I'd never heard of Reame's Frozen Egg Noodles either but was so ha"

"I found fresh baby San Marzano tomatoes at my grocery store so knew I had to use them for this dish. It was very very good. This will be on the Thanksgiving menu for sure this year instead of the usual green bean casserole. The red tomatoes will add a nice pop of color. Giada also has a similar recipe but uses canned tomatoes, fresh basil and adds"

"I thought this twist on a classic spinach salad was interesting so I gave it a try. Did not enjoy the texture of the sauteed onions and mushrooms however. "I love anything "gratin" and am always looking for different ways to make brussels sprouts. This was tasty, but either has to cook longer or the brussels sprouts need to be blanched for 2 or 3 minutes before slicing because the end result was a little "woody" and not very tender.
