I have not made this sandwich, yet, but I have made the ranch dressing many times and it is the best! My family now insists on my, Jeff's, homemade ranch rather than store bought ranch. I always double the recipe to use 1 cup buttermilk as that is the smallest amount I can buy. I also add more dill. For a double recipe I use 2 tablespoon dill....

I made these as a Christmas present for all the dogs in our extended family. They loved them! They loved them so much I had to tell the kids to stop giving the dogs so many in one day. I wasn't aware of a problem with chicken broth for dogs. I make a lot of my own stock so I will use that next time.
