Reviewed Homemade Mayonnaise

Sunday, Jan 5, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This is wonderful!! I use white wine vinegar instead of red. It gives it less of mayo taste and more of a mild aioli taste. Also, I'm intolerant to mustard so I leave it out entirely and it's delish. I use only 1 14 cups of oil instead of 1 1/2. I use grapeseed oil since it's healthier than the others she recommends. Yum!! Love it!

This turned out great! It did have a pretty strong onion flavor to it, so I think next time I'll just do one small yellow onion and then maybe a little shallot or a leak instead of two whole onions. I'm not a fan of curry so I didn't add it. I did roast 2 cloves of garlic with it and added that in to the blender. Instead of chopping all that squash,...

I used a can of pinto and a can of garbanzo beans and also used grass fed beef instead of bison. Used veggie broth instead of water, used only 1 poblano (but"

After the 2 hrs 15 minutes, the chicken was finally done and was very moist. I did add i"

Here are the alterations I made: used pinto beans because that's all I had on hand, grapeseed oil because i can't stand the taste of olive oil, dried parsley (about 1/2 Tablespoon, a pinc""

"This was AWESOME!! My husband and I absolutely loved it! I served it over a piece of Ezekiel bread. Mmmm! I don't have a dutch oven, so I did the first part in a regular pan on the stove, then I transfered everything to a baking dish and put it on the oven. It turned out perfect! I didn't baste the chicken while it was in the oven, and it was fine. I did forget to put in the lemon zest, but It still had enough lemon taste from the lemon juice. I also chopped the two sprigs of rosemary very fine and added them into the dish instead of just putting in the sprigs and removing them at the end. Oh and I used gluten free all purpose flour instead of regular flour and you couldn't tell the difference. I will be making this again and again!! Amazing!"

"My husband and I absolutely loved this recipe!! :) I used all organic ingredients and used wheat free soy sauce. We didn't use oyster sauce. I found it tastes better if the chicken marinates in the yummy sauce for about 5 hours in the fridge before cooking. I made another batch of the sauce recipe and then drizzled it over brown rice, greens, and put more on the chicken when it was done. I didn't need to broil the chicken...it was plenty done after the 25 minutes in the oven. Yum! I will be making this over and over again!! :)
