"This was a disappointment. I followed the recipe, a first for me, but it is a nasty brown color and far too thin. Too much liquid and needs another ingredient like apples or carrots. "What am I doing wrong/ Have tried to make this. It comes out flat, like play dough in the middle. Tastes OK but just does not bake up right for me. Have used my iron Tagine bottom to make it in. Is this a problem?
I enjoy trying new recipes, and yes, sometimes for the first time on guests. Many successes, especially among the "i don't cook, I make reservations crowd". Would have loved to work in a test kitchen in another life.
