"This hit all the right notes. I thought it might lack a bit of something without adding any seasonings, but all the ingredients combined into the perfect bite. I followed the recipe exactly, except I don't like buying leeks, so I sauted half of a sweet yellow onion. The rest I followed as written and it was excellent. I will be making this again."
"This is a fantastic, easy recipe! I have served it for company and everyone always loves it. I make it exactly as printed."
"I hate to give Brian Boitano stars, but I just wasn't a fan of this recipe. The sauce had an odd taste to me. LOVE LOVE LOVE Brian Boitano though, and I wish there were new episodes of his show. It was one of my favorite shows to watch on Food Network and most of his recipes are fabulous."
"I guess I have different tastes. I threw out the pickles and though I used the dressing, it did not delight me at all. I'd have preferred regular 1000 island for something different or just dressing the burger with the regular stuff: mustard, ketchup, and/or mayonnaise. My burger was great, but I didn't follow the recipe for that. I just grilled g"
"Seriously good! Like nothing I've ever had. Plan for a little prep work (charring, peeling, de-seeding poblanos, for example), but just know it's worth it. I loved it exactly as the recipe is written, but I did need to create more of the corn sauce to cover the lasagna noodles. Next time, for good measure, I think I'll double the onions, zucchini,"
"2 stars for being fair. I love Ree, her blog, her photos, her show...but this soup was just not great. Too bell peppery and bland, and it wasn't under seasoned. It was just not something that more salt and pepper would spruce up. My family and I just weren't all that impressed. Not bad, mind you, but not something I'd make again. Sorry Ree. ""
"This is good. Not fabulous but nothing wrong with it at all. I suspect I am more a cream cheese person than mascarpone. A little on the bland side. So we enjoyed it, but I doubt I'll be making it again.
I just made the dip and used store-bought pita chips. So this is not a review of the chips.""
"Surprisingly impressed! We eat a LOT of ground turkey dishes in our household, so I decided to give this a try. But I'll confess, it didn't sound that great. I decided to trust the reviews. The meatballs are full of flavor and the "gravy" is full of flavor. Two tips: (1) Watch the leeks. Mine started to get crispy once I added the meatballs, so I ""
"Very tasty! For those who had trouble with the pie crusts, re-watch the episode. She rolls it out really thick (not mentioned in the printed recipe). It turns into something her cowboys can hand-hold and eat out on the range. I can see why a store-bought crust would never keep its shape, nor her crust if it's rolled out too thin. Hope that helps.""
