"Made this for a crowd of hubbies coworkers...nothing left of the two birds! It might be tempting to leave off the fennel, but it adds such a great flavore. I did use carrots instead of artichokes since I forgot to buy them. I just added them with the potatoes and onions. "
"I did take into consideration what others wrote before I made this. I used less lemon (only the 2 sliced and 1 juiced) I took the lemons out early (right after it all came together) and added a pinch of sugar at the end. I also didn't have saffron, so I upped the turmeric and cinnamon. Am very happy with this dish. "
