"A winner for sure! I went a little heavy handed on the rub, and they were a bit salty, but that's more my fault. Fantastic contrasting flavors. Definitely a keeper and I'll be making this often! Onion wings were perfect! and the apples so yummy!"
"Leaf lard is pretty hard to come by, but luckily I have one of the 4 farms in the country that renders their own 16 miles from me. It is incredible how much difference the leaf lard makes in the taste of the biscuits! The only problem (and it's not the recipe) is I just can't get the same rise that Alton does out of his biscuits. I even use the"
"I actually made this! It is amazing! Just the right amount of heat and smoke. The only issue is I apparently didn't press it firm enough as it fell apart just a little bit, but not too much. Another winner from AB!"
"The best vegetable soup I've ever had. As usual, people adjusting the recipe and then complaining that it doesn't turn out right. Guess I'll never get it.... Great soup AB!"
"Made this last night and I echo all the comments below! I'm not even a big lover of green olives and this dish was fantastic and super easy to make! One of my all time favs and I'll be making this one for a long time to come!"
"While this application is VERY tasty, I found it a bit too thick and rich to drink much of it at one sitting. After about 3 sips it was enough. However, I did save the remaining and made the frappe (related recipe which was excellent!)""
"These cookies are to die for! They're overall pretty expensive to get all the ingredients, but they're worth it! So far I've made 3 of the 6 applications from this episode! Pretty awesome stuff so far! ""
"The related Hot chocolate application was a bit too thick and rich for my tastes, but the frappe did not suffer from this. I made the coffee version and it was perfect! ""

"Really bugs me people asking questions that the answers are obvious! "What's the little birdie in the pie for?" Watch the episode people! Or even the video on this very website! jeesh!
With that said, the pie is amazing! Crust is incredible and the apples are the star of the show, as they should be! As far as having to go on a "scavenger hunt" t""
"Just discovered Kelsey. Made this salad today for lunch as well as the roasted chicken from the same show, and it was excellent. She has a little bit of Alton Brown in her as far as sensibilities so this appeals to me greatly (using vegetables in place of a roasting rack, etc)
I'll be watching and trying more recipes from her. ""
"I had this last night and it was excellent. The salmon was not too salty or sweet and it melted in your mouth! The salad was the perfect compliment as well. Really wish people would stick to reviewing the RECIPE and not the damn show!"
"Updated: AFter changing the temp on my crappy range from medium to medium high this turned out wonderful! Alton is still the man!
"Another winner by AB! This turned out just like I expected it to. Delicious, super easy to make, and very impressive looking!
"I hate to rate any of Alton's recipes 1 star, but I too tried twice to make this and the sugar water never gets to the amber color. It just turns into a sugary mash when mixed with the pumpkin seeds. Very granular. I use the exact same all clad 3 qt. Saucier that he uses. Anyone have any idea what im doing wrong?
"This is fantastic! I just made this, drinking it as I type! I was afraid of making this due to some of the reviews. I can understand if this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it sure is mine! Lots of complex flavors, my taste buds are having a field day! I feel bad for doubting the Master! Go Alton!
