About Me

I love to bake... each Christmas season I gather up the 30 lb of white flour, 10 lb of white sugar, 7 lb of conf. sugar, and way too much butter and too many eggs to count. I gather up my 14 favorite holiday cookie recipes... change my mind endless times... adding new ones to try, but unable to give up making the old favorites... It's very frustrating, I need to make them all ! -- sometimes i do. I usually triple the recipes (at least)... the recipients of these cookie trays (xmas gifts to relatives) are very much appreciative. Just something I enjoy doing. (Leaving the daily cooking up to my loving husband...that is HIS joy in life!)
