I made this for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. I used a 2 lb. Panettone because there is so much liquid, 1 lb. would not soak it up. I also used heavy cream instead of whipping cream and it worked well. I made it the day before and refrigerated it and it was fine.

"I seasoned and seared the tuna on my George Forman grill. I was in a hurry so I served the tuna without the dressing. It was so tasty and delcious! I'm sure that it's even better with the dressing but I was happy and satisfied without it. Every one of Ina's recipies that I have made (I have 2 of her cookbooks) is delicious! Thank you Ina!

"I was looking for a seasonal trifle recipe and came across this one. How perfect for Fall! I made it for a big office party and everyone was raving about it. Many staff asked for the recipe and when I told them that it was from Paula Deen they said "That explains why it's so outrageously delicious". It was very easy to make. I had an average sized trifle bowl but actually had enough left over to make a smaller portion in a 4 cup bowl. This is a great dessert for Halloween and Thanksgiving! Thank you Paula!
