Reviewed No-Baste, No-Bother Roasted Turkey

“I was very skeptical of this method to cook a turkey. The turkey was 12.75 pounds. I followed instructions exactly as listed. I used a roasting pan with a tight fitting lid as directed. One hour at the 500 degrees then 5 hours 30 minutes in unopened oven. I was amazed how the meat just fell off the bones. There was an abundance of meat juices. Rather... ”
"I only had 8 hours to marinate the chicken but it was moist, very good. Next time I will plan ahead and marinate longer. I grilled chicken and sliced for a large salad. Worth the effort. When mixing I added olive oil as the last item for a total of 12 ounces of liquids in the measuring cup. Since there was no specific amount for olive oil I watche"
"Who knew this shortcut of premade dough could be so tasty. Just made again today for
Easter dinner. Fabulous with or without rosemary. Perfection, I will never buy already baked dinner rolls again. Yummy Yummy. So very good. Could not get any easier than this."
"This is a real winner. I added chopped onion, for half the salt portion I used garlic salt, the rest used the regular salt and mixed half of the cheese into the heavy cream mixture. I put the remaining cheese on the top of dish in the last 20 minutes in oven. Possibly the best potatoe casserole I have ever prepared. The dish required 90 minutes in"
"This is a great pie. The flavor is wonderful. I read reviews and only used 3 T butter on top pies and I added 1 t. cinnamon to apples. My pies oozed a small amount. I lined pans with parchment paper and clean up was easy. I will make this again. Fabulous crust, just plain good., I made the carmel sauce too. Super Super combination. "
"Made these today as trial run for Xmas. I am not a great fan of asparagus but WOW, these are so good. Crazy easy to make ahead and pop in oven right before dinner. I followed advice
of other reviewers and saved some of the sauce to baste again right before serving. Also, I cooked on the wire rack and broiled few brief minutes at end to crisp up ba"
"YUMMY, YUMMY. This recipe was super easy and so very good. My family loved it. I made it exactly as stated with exception of omitting the cayenne pepper (we do not care for it). This dish has such great flavor. I will certainly make this again and again. "
"Exceptional meatballs. I doubled the amount of sauce but made exactly as recipe stated. I made the night before and baked just before dinner. I also made Pioneer Woman's Mac & Cheese and Baked Corn with Red Bell Peppers for dinner. Perfect combination. We had as a dinner but you could easily make smaller meatballs and serve as an appetizer. Super ""
"Oops, when I reviewed this dish, my tired brain mixed up the pioneer woman's baked corn dish and the mac and cheese. We loved them both, but in my previous review I mentioned adding corn starch to mac and cheese. I only added that to the baked corn dish not the mac and cheese. Both dishes are excellent.""
"My husband who never eats mac & cheese really liked this dish. I used a "good" cheddar cheese which made it taste great. I followed advice of other reviewers and used less of milk mixture and added 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to it. I baked it about 45 minutes in oven and it thickened very well. I added couple teaspoons of paprika also. I made thi""
"This appetizer was just okay tasting. Certainly not worth the cost of buying all the different meat products involved to prepare this. I made exactly as recipe stated. I even made the pizza dippers too. I will not make this again. Just an average appetizer.""
"This is a masterpiece sandwich, the sauce is the thing that takes it over the top. I followed the suggestions of other reviewers. I marinated the chicken in an Italian dressing for a few hours and I chopped the sundried tomatoes into small pieces. My family loved it. I will make this again for sure. I was hesitant to use the anchovy paste but I tr""
"Fantastic results and very easy to make. I have made this at least 6 times since last summer and it comes out great every time. The turbinado sugar adds just the right amount of sweetness on top (I sprinkle a fair amount on top of each shortcake). I even get requests to bring this dessert to family gatherings. ""
"YUMMY, YUMMY. I added chopped red onions and chopped red peppers to cook with the meat mixture. It turned out great, full of flavor and just the right balance of seasonings. The masa flour was easy to find in the ethnic food aisle. I served the chili over rice and it was superb. I did add about one cup of water as the chili mixture simmered. ""
"The filling was excellent but the cake was kind of bland tasting. The presentation looked fabulous then a bit of a let down once you bit into the cake. I will not make the cake again but I will use the filling recipe in the future.""
"Very Very Good. Everyone loved this. I will certainly make these many times in the future. I left out the mushrooms since we do not care for them. I loved the fact that you can make this dish in advance, up to the last step, then pop back in the oven to bake for last 20 minutes right before your dinner. The results are fabulous.
