"You could search a lifetime and not find a meatloaf recipe everyone would like but, this could be the one! After reading the reviews I took a little from porchfish of Fl. and added along with the cayenne three drops of Tabasco to the awesome sauce. Although I am sure the original recipe would be a hit, it never hurts to kick it up a notch.
"I had to try this after reading the neg. reviews. I cooked in our convection oven (conv. convert) which lowers the temp. 25 deg. for 15 min. for thicker slices, came out great. You just can't walk away and trust the timer. The tinner slices I cooked a shorter time, just keep an eye on and they will be just fine. I did use the russet potatoes.
"This was & will be one of my fav. After reading other review's, It was good to know others had the same prob. with the green beans not being tender. When I try these new recipes, the rule of thumb is to follow it to the tee. After that I can modify or sub. ingredients to our liking. We will make again just steam green beans before hand. Great job "
"This was the best fried chicken I have ever made, not that I have made that much. The lovely lady does most of the cooking! I think the brine has a lot to do with the moisture and flavor (I'll try a little hot sauce next time) like frdavis. By the way moved from W.R. in "89" go DEMONS."
"I could give this recipe three stars only. I followed this recipe to the letter, and it was soup. I wish I had read reviews first. Found out later this was a restaurant, just cut the amount of ingredients recipe. NOT TRIED BY FOOD NETWORK STAFF. I did add more flower, wife's suggestion. Flavor OK, but nothing what I expected!
