For me these are a serious cookie boss - not too sweet, depth of flavor, a hit of heat and topped with a perfect salty finish. "I'm trying to make this recipe now, but I'm a little confused. Are we meant to add ALL of the spice mixture to the tamarind mixture? Seems like a lot of spice mix to me….what is meant by 'season' with creole seasoning'? Is that a dash, a tablespoon or the whole bowl?"
"Just made this using homemade dough and seasoning from King Author Flour. The only thing I changed was also adding fresh baby arugula. The caramelized onions took quite a bit longer, but very worth it. I was hesitant at first to add such a 'kapok' cheese, but all the flavors came together beautifully. A keeper."
