Reviewed fried onion dip

Monday 9 days ago on

This is delicious. I couldn't stop my husband from eating the onions as they were cooling! So, I had to make a second batch. I highly recommend making sure you clarify the butter as the onions cook to a much deeper brown than they would if you didn't. The only thing I changed was not adding the honey. This will be my go to onion dip from now on. I...

The ricotta is awesome!!!! Going straight into my lasagna this evening!!! Soooo easy to make and every bit as good--better--than store bought and about 1/3 of the price!!! Really nice consistency!!!

Reviewed lobster roll

Wednesday, Sep 3, 2014 on

This is by far the best lobster roll I have ever had, and I have had many. It's so light and tasty. The mayo topping is excellent and really adds a pop to the roll. I used left over king crab in place of the lobster. I find that crab is tastier than lobster. I would definitely recommend this!!!!

I'm not rating the recipe, although I'm sure its good. Just wanted to say that Ree did not add any water to the pot of beef. Ree's food is really good. It's a shame the foodnetwork keeps messing up her recipes. There were mistakes on all three of the recipes for this show.

Show called for an 8 oz. block of cream cheese, not 4 oz as written in the recipe.

Reviewed mango papaya salsa

Tuesday, Jul 29, 2014 on

This was ok. I only added half of the allspice and that was enough for us. I think it would have a better texture and taste if you used pineapple instead of papaya.

Reviewed smokey red beans and rice

Tuesday, Jul 29, 2014 on

I made this and followed the recipe exactly, except the tablespoon of salt. Only used 1 teas. but on the show he did say 1 tablespoon, so the recipe as written is correct. I cooked it for 4 hours and the beans were still a bit firm. I would definitely recommend soaking them overnight before cooking them. When I served them, they were absolutely delicious!!!...

This was delicious!! It will be my go to recipe now for my banh mi!! I think Anne is probably one of the best chefs on the network. Wish she didn't talk to her food so much though!!

Awesome!! Make a double batch of the marinate and add the second half to the same amount of your favorite bbq sauce--ours is Sweet Baby Ray's. It was delicious.

Reviewed spice rubbed lamb chops hoisin and with grilled bok choy salad

Tuesday, Jul 8, 2014 on

I just made this complete recipe and it was truly outstanding. I was afraid that the spice mixture for the lamb would taste like Chinese five spice, which I don't care for, but it was much more delicate in flavor and really enhanced the lamb! Make sure you use a hoisin sauce that you know you like, or that could really cause a problem. The bok choy...

Reviewed stuffed white mushroom caps

Sunday, Jul 6, 2014 on

These were really good. They weren't quite as flavorful as I thought they would be, but still really tasty. I have enough stuffing left to do about 20 more mushrooms, however. I think next time I will use Marsala instead of dry vermouth and will use half sour cream and half cream cheese. I also reduced my balsamic vinegar down so it got nice and syrupy....

This sandwich is delicious!! I followed the recipe just about exactly, but let my marinated pork sit in the fridge overnight and cooked it in the crock pot instead of the oven.
