"In response to the review that said these were difficult - I'm a home cook, and didn't find these difficult at all. I made these last year, and will be making them again this year. They turned out wonderfully, and really did look like eyeballs. While I liked the "blood salsa", the kids weren't in love with it. A good marinara would be more up "
"I did not make the cocktail sauce, so I can't say how that part of the recipe tastes, but the calamari and ponzu mayo is really good. The calamari was very tender and the coating was nice and crispy. I did need a little more panko than the recipe calls for. I would suggest breading all the calamari and having them all ready to go before you beg"
