"A rare bust for Sunny. We were looking forward to a home made Tuna Casserole as we were tired of the box tuna helper tasting chalky. This was bland and way to much peas. We have made many of Sunny's recipes and this is only the second one that we did not care for."
"I cut up and used a 6.89 pound whole bird. Sauce tasted like it needed something more. Added another tablespoon of garlic, five shakes of Franks Red Hot and about a tablespoon of red pepper flakes. Tasted great and will make again."
"A Bust. Made for the first time last night for Christmas Eve. Watch the show not that long ago and followed the directions, maybe I did something wrong. Did not puff up at all, just made a huge bubble in the center of the pan. The whole thing was flat about an 1/8" or so and tasted awful."
"Sunny's Rock-n-Rack of Lamb would be a better title for the recipe. Easy, Fast and Delicious."
"This was good, but nothing to write home about."
"Anne Burrell rocks and so does this recipe for Braised Short Ribs! Added twice the carrots, celery, onion and garlic so there would be plenty of the good stuff to serve over the meat and mashed potatoes."
"I use to hate Brussels Sprouts as the only ones I ever had were in a Army mess hall boiled in a hotel pan in the oven with just water. Bitter and foul tasting.
This was truly delicious and will make again and again when fresh Brussels Sprouts are in season."
"About five weeks ago I put a one pound bag of fresh cranberries in a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka to make fresh cranberry flavored vodka for the holidays. I use the cranberries to make this recipe. I did not add the Grand Marnier, I did add two table spoons of corn starch to thicken the sauce to a jelly. Turned out great and will make again next "
"Update 11-05-12 : Second time making this and Wam-Bam-Out Of The Park!!
WOW!!! The sauce was out of this world, the meat was done perfectly. Don't change a thing with the pot roast recipe. This was the first pot roast that my wife did not reach for the ketchup. in 14 years. Changed up the roasted vegetables a little, two carrots, one turnip, "
"WOW!!! The sauce was out of this world, the meat was done perfectly. Don't change a thing with the pot roast recipe. This was the first pot roast that my wife did not reach for the ketchup. in 14 years. Changed up the roasted vegetables a little, two carrots, two turnips, two parsnips, two russet potatoes, and two sweet potatoes."
"This is the second time I have made this sauce for steaks and both times it was that one thing that made the meal remarkable."
"Watched the episode where this was made the other day and thought this would be a nice appetizer before dinner one night. The wife and I thought it was missing something in the flavor profile. I snitched one of the tomato halves when I pulled them out of the oven. The warm tomato tasted a lot better fresh out of the oven. I mention that bacon "
"Very tasty and will do again. Soaked chops for 24 hours. I used a flat cast iron grill pan on medium heat 5 minutes each side. My chops were very thick so I covered the entire pan with aluminum foil folded in half and baked 10 minutes at 350 degrees to finish cooking them. Let the chop rest on the dinner plate for 3 minutes. Served with rice "
"This was a great inspiration. This is what I did: 1 can pineapple rings, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 big splashes of soy sauce, 3 cloves garlic. Pureed the marinade in the blender. Marinaded the chicken over night. Pat dry the chicken with paper towels, let set on the counter for 20-30 minutes. Grilled (charcoal) 5 minutes each side. Transferred to"
"There are a lot of good reviews for this recipe, so maybe this one is just not for us.
Made this one twice and both times it was disappointing. The dry rub is something that should be on meat that you slow cook on a grill or smoker on low heat for a few hours. Not sear for a few minutes on each side then in the oven for 20-25 minutes. The pine""
"I was writing down my shopping list and noticed that I have never posted a review for this. We have made this many of times and has always turned out excellent. I will get up a little extra early on a work day and get it going before we leave for the day. When you get home the first thing you will notice is that mouth watering smell of a great ""
"This is an awesome stew! It not that difficult at all, just time consuming - plan on three and a half to four hours to make. I cheated and used Grands! Home-style Buttermilk Biscuits. Will make again and again.""
"Loved the Lemon Chicken, grilled on a cast iron grill pan. Will make the chicken again. We however were disappointed with the Brown Rice and Mushroom Salad. Followed the directions, but who knows, maybe I did something wrong when preparing it. Will serve the chicken with something else next time.""
