"This is a great, hearty soup. I didn't have elbow pasta so used rotini and think its fine. I also didn't have dried basil and don't miss it. It didn't take long at all to make and not a lot of prep time with lots of chopping. Doesn't feel like a "healthy" soup but feel good getting the beans into my diet. "

"This was a great easy meal and I actually had all of the ingredients without shopping. I didn't have plum tomatoes but used vine ripened tomatoes and thought they were perfect. "I really liked this dish. It was rich and flavorful. I used bonnet peppers for an extra punch. I didn't have marjoram so I'm not how that affected the flavor. The meat was very tender and since it's not the best cut of meat,this whole meal was pretty inexpensive. I served it over egg noodles with a side of sour cream.
