"Looking for a new veggie recipe I stumbled upon this show the other day. All I can say is if you LOVE Stuffed Artichokes, you'll LOVE this recipe. It takes all the hard work and makes it an easy dish that is simply elegant and oh so tasty. I added a little onion and instead of Marsala wine....I used what I had on hand, a little Pinot Grigio! Y""
"I love this recipe! I browned the garlic and onion prior to adding the slaw in the fry pan and it added another whole level of taste. Yummy! I also used a marinara sauce that I made myself. I ended up cooking pasta for my family and I had this instead. They all tried it and loved it but I'm low carbing my life and it really hit the spot! Fabu"
"Oh my! Everyone's going to think I'm a genius! I've got this cooking now for dinner tonight. Taste fabulous and it's not done! Just use what you have on hand to make it your own recipe. Like, I used some chicken tenders, some andouille sausage cut in to coins, some sweet italian sausage patties cut in cubes, and i'll add some shrimp to cook 5"
"Although I don't like Alex's air of arrogance about her, I was able to watch this show and then made this salad for dinner. An occasional smile may help Alex as I have trouble getting past your condescending demeanor. Anyway, this salad is alot of work but totally worth the effort. Try it!
"I'm only giving this a 3 star. Rachel, this is a good recipe but it's bland. Kick it up! The ricotta cheese is so bland. Instead, use provolone, asiago or another stronger cheese or both. The cheese is the binder so use whatever kind you love. Also, easier yet, instead of using the food processor or blender, I also just diced everything pretty small. I have one of those hand choppers that you pound for a few seconds and whaa-laa...chopped everything. I love it. I hate clean up and this was easier and less time. Enjoy!
"Ina, this is not your best! All this work and not worth the effort you need to go through to fry the onions and bake it with the pan of water underneath. I'll stick to my old recipe that everyone raves about! No thanks! Don't bother with this one!
"You've got to try this recipe but I agree with the other post that says NO Vodka sauce in Italy ever has Oregano (fresh or from a bottle. No way, I'm glad I lightened it up and didn't follow the recipe exactly. Another reviewer said it's ok to use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. I took the batch and made halve of if with half-and-half and the other halve with heavy cream. There was no comparison. Heavy cream is the way to go. Thanks Ina, we're finally able to have Rigitoni with Vodka Sauce and I'd definately serve this to company...hands down the best! Susan
