"I loved this and made it for guests - it was a huge hit. The sour cream kept the cake moist as people nibbled it throughout the morning.
I wasn't sure why the extra step of refrigerating the topping only to bring it back to room temp? "
"With the exception of the goat cheese it didn't differ from the other (many) stroganoff recipes I've tried in the past. But the execution and ingredients were a home run for me. This one does it for sure. Over fresh, home-made pasta it was unbeatable for meatless Monday. Thanks, Alton!"

"I have to confess...I did not make the risotto. Instead I made the carrot butter and Chuck was right, its OUT OF THIS WORLD! I served it with sausage and apple palmiers as my Thanksgiving appetizer and people were practically licking the bowl.
It will be wonderful drizzled on fish as well.
