"My chicken was a 5 lb one and the cooking time was too short. I had to butcher the bird after the original cooking time to get it done. I used spices I could find at Walmart and realized I used too much pepper. Found a beer that worked just fine. I may not try this again simply because I don't care for chicken very much.
