β€œTrisha has many great recipes, don't give up. This mac and cheese is different from those where you make a cream sauce on the stove top. I have made this both in the crock pot and in the oven (the alternate instructions she offers in the recipe) . My family loves it. I find the results in the oven are more like "normal" mac and cheese.

β€œOverall, this was quite good. I, like others, needed to add more flavor so I toasted pecans (out of walnuts) and had to use cream cheese b/c I couldn't get any goat cheese. I added some adobo seasoning (Goya is the best) and it brought it all together. Very good and I'll make it again. ”
