I haven't made this yet but wanted to comment. The ingredient list says 1/4 tsp of cornstarch and she also stated that when making it on the show, however it looked to me like she was using a Tbs.
If you liked the flavor, it's worth playing around with it. Thicken it until the consistency coats the back of a spoon. =)

You might like using honey instead of brown sugar.

Thank you for mentioning to add more honey if used. I haven't made the dish yet, but I thought I'd like that better than the brown sugar.
