Reviewed Scallops with Cream and Basil

Thursday, Dec 29, 2011 on Cooking Channel

"We love this! Have made several times now, most recently I substituted a small chopped yellow onion for the shallots and added a few minced garlic cloves and the results were just as delicious! The simplicity of this dishes allows for a variety of sides - I've done garlic mashed potatoes, risotto with lemon and creme fraiche among a few others. Ov""

Reviewed Rene's Coleslaw

Monday, Apr 18, 2011 on FoodNetwork.com

"This is by far the best coleslaw I have ever made. The dried cranberries and almonds (which I smashed with a meat mallet into crumbles to hide them from my boyfriend who proclaims to be a very picky eater) complimented the slaw beautifully giving the perception that the slaw is a light summery salad. Flavor combination created here is explosive, definitely give this one a try!"

Reviewed Creamed Kale with Caramelized Shallots

Monday, Oct 4, 2010 on Food Network

"I don't review every recipe I've prepared, but I made this last week and was a little skeptical because I don't ever serve vegetables "creamed" but THIS WAS INCREDIBLE! The creamed kale had a very sensual flavor, it was sweet and rich with flavors because of the sauce and caramelized shallots! I served this with potato gratin and baked chicken breasts which became the side dishes in face of the kale. Will definitely make this again!
