"I made the recipe with only one change: I made the caramel from scratch. I checked it after an hour and it was completely liquid. I cooked it for over 2 hours until I got a clean toothpick. It was fine, the flan was harder than a regular flan but I received many compliments. I need to make it again and see what happens."
