"I made this, with a couple of modifications, along with the bolognese recipe from the same episode, and both were outstanding. I substituted romaine (because that's what I had on hand), and left out the fennel and radish (only because I didn't have either and didn't have time to run to the store) and yet this was still an outstanding salad.
"I've made these several times with varying results. The first time I made them I used a metal pan and ran into the same problems that others have posted (regarding cooking times). However, once I switched over to using a glass dish everything came out fine (make the switch).
Anyway, everybody loves these brownies. Most recently made some for a grad party at which they received rave reviews. Thanks Tyler...your recipes rock, and make me look like I actually know what I'm doing.
I am a complete rookie when it comes to baking...and most other types of cooking. Even with that said, it really enjoy learning and trying new recipes.
