“Hands down, this is THE best recipe for a classic, homemade, "tastes like mom's" banana walnut bread. I have made this recipe several times now. You can't go wrong with this recipe. The only thing I did differently is wait about 20 minutes before turning it out of the loaf pan. 5 minutes doesn't work for me, falls apart. But it still gets eaten... ”
"Fantastic! Easy and satisfying. I personally think this serves more than 4 people, especially when paired with other things (chicken or shrimp, fresh green salad), and therefore a bit easier on the waistline for a nice Saturday night dinner. :). Make sure to let the pasta really absorb the sauce and it is magical. Will definitely make again. "
"We have made this recipe many times and the family loves it!! The flavor and texture is wonderful - everything you want in a shepherd's pie, yet also very healthy. And trust me, you don't even know the caulifower is in there at all. The portion size is very generous, plus it's weight watchers friendly. A real winner! "
"This is a fantastic recipe!! My whole family loves it!! I am so excited to find that I can cook this dish at home, and it's easily every bit as good as my favorite Indian restaurant. This has become a staple at our house, great recipe, you must try!! Now, a quick note about the previous reviewer's comment about the dish being too bland....I do"
"This was surprisingly tasty! The recipe looked a little bland, but we were looking for something lighter and healthier. But WOW, it really packed a big punch of flavor. We added shrimp with garlic and lemon and it was just really good. I should never doubt Giada's recipes! Amazing!"
"We are avid foodie fans, love to cook and have been cooking for years. We normally love Giada's recipes, but this one just kinda missed the mark for us. It was initially quite bland, so we jazzed it up with parmesan, salt & pepper, and it was so-so at best. But we do love Giada's cooking, have to say. We've just had better luck with many of he""
"Oh my goodness, I think these are the best sweet potatoes I've ever eaten. And I've made all the different kinds of recipes you can think of - you know, the fancy schmancy recipes with brown sugar and crumbly toppings (and yes, even the tried and true marshmallow topping). But, in all honesty, this recipe beats all of the others, hands down. Th""
"YUM! Made this tonight after a tiring day of Christmas shopping...it was quick, easy, hearty, and SO delicious, wow. This was a real winner with the family, and I know this will be repeated many times in years to come. One note of advice - definitely don't skip the parmesan rind in the soup and use fresh rosemary. It'll make all the differenc""
"Very good. One thing I loved about the recipe is that it went together in a snap, and yet it would be great for entertaining. I did add a crushed up clove of garlic in with the hot pasta for a little extra something. Very elegant dish. It did take on just a slight pink color with the tomato puree, and I don't remember seeing that come through ""
"Incredibly tasty! We used gruyere cheese, as that's what we had on hand and also added some canadian bacon and wow, it was so good. Beautiful presentation, very tasty, wonderful for a nice brunch or to serve to company. Will definitely make again - it's a keeper!
