"First go I made these exactly as recipe is written. I baked until the bottoms started to turn brown and that was too much. These are cake-like cookies and baking too long makes them unacceptably hard. I also found the cranberry flavor missing, although the orange was perfect. Second go, I reduced the baking time by four minutes (from 24 to 20)"
