"Very good but confused. when you watch the tv episode the recipe is not the same as here. i am doing this for the second time tonight, and will go by recipe on tv, which has a thicker dipping sauce which Luke uses for the salad, no water or vinegar and no putting on the stove to heat."
"Love it. Made it for the second time, doubled recipe so I can give as gifts. Had a chopped salad for dinner last evening, used the gardiniera (or however you spell it) over the salad, no dressing needed and also to make it more of a meal, I mixed about 2 generous tablespoons of it with boiled spuds to serve with salad.
